Of stupidity, gene pools and Auschwitz

Remember my last post? Me neither. In a nutshell I said that 3D was overrated and unnecessary. Especially when applied to the movie Titanic. Now, I’ve just met a person that thought the incident with the Titanic never happened. That it was just a movie. Brace yourself.

Q
ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT SARAH JESSICA PARKER?
A

Fairly sure. I don’t have nearly as much money as her. I’m a guy too which adds to my claim.

Of 11 year olds, marketing and 3D

3D. That’s the new thing isn’t it? Alice In Wonderland 3D, Star Wars 3D, Titanic 3D, … So realistic you can actually feel the money being sucked out of your wallet. It’s the exact same thing. The exact same story, the exact same actors in the exact same setting. Only with a pair of, uncomfortable I might add, red and blue glasses on your face so the walls appear slightly further away.

Of cabbage stew, names and trains

Fancy words piss me off to no end. The unnecessary kind that is. The kind you say just to sound smart or to make your product seem more fancy than it is. Something restaurants tend to do. If you go down to your local restaurant and order a nice plate of cabbage stew with some sausages you pay about 5 euros. A black, old man who had nothing but the clothes on his back and the small cup he held his change in. So I gave him whatever small change I had in my pocket and went on my merry way.

Dave the massive tool

This is the story of Dave. Dave never was the sharpest tool in the shed. He never went to school. Heck he never had any education to speak of. But he was a hard worker and since he didn’t have a proper job he was available all the time. So Dave always helped out the people who had need of him. Sadly he could never say no either. His friend Joey knew this. He wasn’t truly his friend, he used him. Whenever his car broke down Dave would be there to help. If Joey needed some plumbing done he would be ready to jump in and help. But he never noticed that Joey kept him around only for those moments. They never really talked. Only when Dave did a bad job. He’d get the blame for it.
